GDPR-roundtable on practical questions encountered during implementation

20.11.2018 BE law

After the success of the roundtable sessions we held before the GDPR took effect (in May this year), our TMT team is enthusiastic about the session of 7 December, focusing on the lessons we have learned from working on multiple GDPR-matters in the past year.

We will tackle some practical questions that we have encountered and that are not or cannot be readily answered by the new regulation.

We will discuss (among others):

  • how to deal with employee and client photographs;
  • data subject rights;
  • data retention periods: less is more?
  • the civil and criminal liabilities of directors and employees;
  • data register: how to set it up and use it?

Our team will share their best practices and discuss their insights with you at this session. They will draw on their first-hand experience in this subject matter and on their expertise. The session will be opened and moderated by TMT partner Erik Valgaeren, head of the TMT practice.

If you would like to attend this roundtable, please send an email to An-Marie Carlier.
