The University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) and the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF) in cooperation with the law-firm Stibbe organise five roundtable debates dedicated to IT governance and the GDPR.

 

In our third session on 7 March, titled "International Data Transfers", we will focus on the requirements of the GDPR with regard to the international transfer of personal data. What constitutes and international data transfer and what are the legal transfer mechanisms permitted under the new Regulation?
