Look for a vacancy that suits your preferences, or apply spontaneously and simply let us know in which direction you want to go.

We will make a first selection based on your CV, cover letter, and various criteria such as the vacancies that are open at that time, your academic results, language skills, and so on. We always reply to job solicitations, and we try to do this within two weeks after having received your application.

A speedy selection process

If you are selected to proceed to the next stage, you will be offered an interview which will be conducted by a member of our HR department and a lawyer or a manager. This first interview will take about an hour at our office (and it will give you an opportunity to experience the central location and easy access to our office building in the Brussels City Centre).

The main purpose of this interview is to verify whether you meet the basic requirements we expect from all our lawyers and staff. We will cover issues such as your legal or technical knowledge, critical thinking, motivation, language skills, social sensitivity, and so on. For staff functions, additional technical assessments may be possible.

This is also your chance to ask us questions.

If you meet our expectations during the first interview, and we yours, we will arrange to have a second interview with you. In the second interview, you will meet the partner(s), counsel(s) and/or manager(s) with whom you would work. They will tell you about their expectations and the way they organize work within their teams. This would be the best time to establish a connection with your potential colleagues, and ask them about all the specific questions you have concerning your future collaboration with them and the tasks you will be assigned.

If you meet our expectations during this second interview, and we yours, we will give you an offer in writing to join our firm. We usually ask that you reply to our offer within two weeks after you’ve received it.

It’s as simple as that.

For summer and winter trainees it’s even more simple. How?

After a first, CV-based selection, you might be qualified for an interview with a member of the HR team. We start these interviews in the fall of each year for the summer internships and hold interviews year round for the winter internships. A final selection of candidates is made from those we interviewed. We recruit around 35 summer and winter trainees each year.
