Xavier has been practising tax law since 2001. Over the years he has represented or assisted various clients from multinational groups to leading financial institutions in all industrial and service sectors.
He specialises in the entire range of tax issues including income taxes, all tax aspects of IP-right and R&D activities, transfer pricing policies and agreements, reorganisations and acquisitions.
Xavier represents clients in fiscal and judicial proceedings, as well as in negotiations with the tax authorities concerning tax audits, tax regulations and rulings.
Furthermore, he handles tax aspects of financial and insurance products, employee benefits, estate planning and accounting law. Xavier also has a deep understanding of financial statements, as well as the economic aspects that are inherent in each transaction.
Xavier has a master’s degree in tax and accounting law from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (2003).
