Pieter Vandenheede

Advising clients from the private and public sectors, Pieter focuses on town and country planning, permits, and environmental law (including fauna and flora, water, waste and environmental impact assessment). He undertakes advisory and litigation work relating to complex, large-scale projects.

Pieter has a proven track record in representing clients before the Council of State (Raad van State/Conseil d’Etat), Council for Permits Disputes, Constitutional Court, and civil courts as well as the European Court of Justice

Furthermore, Pieter has experience in drafting regulations, most notably those for the Flemish Region.

He has a Master of Laws from the University of Ghent (UGent) (2007) and Master’s Degree in international and European law from the University of Brussels (VUB) (2008).
