Leopold Schellekens

Joining our Brussels office in 2001, Leopold has always been dedicated to representing the interests of his clients in his specialist area of administrative law.

He has significant experience in matters regarding various questions of civil service (including police services), public goods, education and public companies.

Leopold has developed a particular expertise in public procurement, advising and handling procedures concerning the suspension or annulment of the different decisions taken by the contracting authority, procedures concerning the suspension or annulment of the contract, and damage claims. He also has an extensive practice in execution of public procurement contracts.

Leopold operates an important procedural law practice before the Belgian Constitutional Court, the Belgian Council of State and the civil courts. He also worked for several years as a part-time assistant at the Institute for Civil Procedure at Catholic University of Leuven (KUL).
