Kirsten Berger

Joining Amsterdam’s energy and industrial group in 2002, Kirsten meets the needs of her clients with clear pragmatism and effective legal solutions.

Specialising in energy law, Kirsten has proven experience in the energy and industrial sector. She acts as counsel to various energy companies and industrial companies in respect of complex projects (such as power plants, wind parks, LNG terminals and pipelines), commercial contracts (including power and gas purchase agreements), joint ventures, M&A transactions and regulatory and financial matters.

Kirsten has a master’s in civil law, tax law and notarial law all from the University of Leiden.

Het doel van de Warmtewet is kort gezegd het beschermen van kleinverbruikers (d.w.z. verbruikers met een aansluiting van maximaal 100 kW, zijnde consumenten en kleinzakelijke afnemers) die van warmtelevering afhankelijk zijn voor wat betreft ruimteverwarming en tapwater.
