Bertrand advises a large range of clients on complex banking & finance matters.
His primary focus is on international financing and securities transactions, securitisation and structured finance matters, banking litigation, as well as insolvency and banking regulatory issues.
In addition, Bertrand handles matters concerning corporate restructurings, acquisition finance, private equity transactions, and on the set-up of Luxembourg corporate entities and specific Luxembourg financing instruments. Bertrand graduated in law from the Nancy II University (UN2) (2000) and holds an LL.M. in commercial law from the University of Sheffield (2001).
He also holds a Magistère in European business law from the Nancy II University (UN2) (2001). Furthermore, Bertrand holds a DEA in private law from the Sorbonne Paris I University (2002).
Before joining the Luxembourg office of Stibbe in 2015, Bertrand was a Counsel at another leading law firm in Luxembourg.
